Nice to meet y’all. I’m a writer based in Brooklyn, though I’m originally from North Carolina. When I was little, my dad always had to tell me to keep my hands to myself (I once had to be picked up from pre-K after throwing a chair at a kid), so I started writing instead.
My fiction and essays have been published in Expat Press, Off Season, Off Assignment, and Catapult (RIP). I’m also working on my debut novel, the first chapters of which won second place in the 2025 Masters Review Novel Excerpt Contest, and I’ll be starting my MFA in Fiction at Brooklyn College in the fall.
